Mateo Ruiz González shot a new series of black and white photographs using a handheld 4x5 field camera. The work explores belonging and collective memory within a football community through stillness and motion.
Conceptualized and produced in collaboration with the artist, the exhibition also included a motion and visual installation by Alex Kranzusch. Our friends at Picky's Mess Hall joined on Saturday. The show ran October 4–5, 2024 at Depot NYC, 222 Roebling St, Brooklyn.
